Extra Hot Deviled Eggs

Serves: 10-12

Prep Time: 25 min

Cook Time: 15 min

Ingredients:

12 eggs
¼ cup mayonnaise
2 teaspoons dijon mustard
1/2-1 teaspoon Pain 100% Hot Sauce
salt
pepper

Optional Garnishes 

paprika, for dusting
chives
jalapeno slices 

Instructions:

  1. Place eggs in a pot with water and bring to a boil. 
  2. Turn off heat and cover the pot with a lid. 
  3. Let sit for 12 minutes. 
  4. Remove eggs from pot and place in a large bowl with ice water. 
  5. Let eggs cool for 5 minutes. 
  6. Peel and slice the eggs in half lengthwise. 
  7. Remove the yolks and place them in a bowl. 
  8. Smash yolks with a fork and add mayo, Dijon, salt, and pepper. 
  9. Stir in 1/2 – 1 teaspoon of hot sauce. 
  10. Add more mayo to achieve a smooth consistency (if needed).  
  11. Use a spoon to heap the yolk mixture into the eggs. Enjoy!
